I remember old Tony.  His family ran a junk yard and he got an old hearse which he drove to school.  Best stationwagon ever.  He even drove it in the Hobo parade.

I met Tony @  one ot the three reunions that I was able to attend.  I have his business card to prove it.  He was one of our 601 other classmates that I never  met in the hallways/campus of BTHS.  Since I was only a student @ BTHS our Jr. & Sr. yr., I did not grow up in Belleville.  In any event, I've been enjoying looking back in my 63 Bellevinois & getting even more excited about our 50th.

Tony drove that old Buick hearse arround and one day we skipped school and just had a ball in that thing, we stoped at a caffe and Tony got in back and covered up in a black piece of cloth and I went in and got a coupla if cokes and this waitress ask if it really was a hearse and I said yes I was even transporting a body now she didn't believe me so i took her out to see and I opened the back door and she yelped then Tony sat up she damn near tore the door of thet caffe off getting back inside. He really liked horses may be as well as people, he was a great guy and is missed. One thing most of us missed, Tony was a hero and his family had a place on a lake some where and he ands his father  were boating and some how the boat sank. His dad was a criple and could not keep him self and he told Tony to let him go and save himself  but he refused and managed to save them both.
