John was really in the class of 1962 but he hung around so he could be with us. Seriously, when I was a young girl John was our paperboy. He was always friendly and did his job with pride and precision being on time for delivery and collection. My dad was very fond of him because in later years my dad had difficulty walking and if John would see him in our "Rumpus Room" (remember those?) he would bring the paper to our sliding glass door and hand it to my dad. What a caring person. I am sorry he is gone.
