I had hoped to see Paula at our 60th, and now, learning the sad news of her passing, I can only surmise she'd been ill. Recalling the giggles we shared in Drivers' Ed class...along with Jo Ann Griesmeyer (Swanson)...and the occasional way we'd cheerfully check in with each other online annnd knowing bits about her difficult life makes me pause in awe. She was a bright light. She will be missed.
