GloriaJean Hawthorne McCormick

I married in Oct 1963 and we had 2 boys, that marriage ended. Later I married Bob Drysdale and moved to Houston, Tx. and started my Alteration Business. My boys grew up and the oldest joined the Army and served 4yrs. later married and gave me 2 wonderful grandchildren. The youngest built cell towers till he fell off a tower and hurt is back, he is married and gave 3 wonderful grandchildren also. My husband passed away and I remarried some time later and my husband passed away 3 days later so I am single now and loving it. I lost my daddy 41 yrs. ago and my mom in 2010. I have also lived in Indiana, Mississippi and New Orleans and now back home.
In 1999 I went to Alaska to meet my brother for the first time, how wonderful that was after looking for him most of my life.

This is not a funny story but a true one. At lunch one day Freshman year I had lunch with some girls I had met. We started tell our names, one was,
Kathy Barber and the next one was Judy Hawthorne, another Carol Hersag,
and one was Nancy Hawthorne, of course we ask who our dads
were so we went home and ask our dads if they knew each other. My daddy
told me that there dad was my cousin and there grandpa was my daddy's
brother WOW we were shocked and so glad that we met and had lunch together for the next 4 years and had a lot of fun. We got to know each other
during this time.
