Bonnie Riffle

Bonnie Jean Riffle (nee Berry), 72, of Belleville, Illinois, born, June 11, 1945, in Evansville, IN, passed away Monday, April 2, 2018 with her loving family by her side.

Bonnie was a jewel to all who knew and loved her. She married the love of her life, Michael K. Riffle, on June 8, 1974, just 3 days before her 29th birthday. This union brought one beautiful daughter, Stephanie. Bonnie thoroughly enjoyed playing Bingo, tending to her home, and spending time with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed spending time with her 3 granddaughters. Bonnie was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary E. (nee Marshall Berry); and her brother, William "Billy" Berry.

Surviving to cherish memories are her devoted husband of almost 44 years, Michael K. Riffle, of Belleville, IL; her loving daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie (Brent) Reichling of Belleville, IL; her granddaughters, Madalyn Reichling, Alaina Reichling and Lillian Reichling; her sister, Lavonne Mihlfeld of Nashville, IL; her sister-in-law, Cathy (Glenn Simpson) Russell; and a number of dear nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation: Friends and family may visit from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Lake View Funeral Home, located at, 5000 N Illinois Street, Fairview Heights, Illinois 62208.

Services: Funeral Services will be held the following day, at 10 a.m., Friday, April 6, 2018, at Lake View Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Lake View Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
