When I was a small girl Susie's grandparents lived across the back alley from our home.  When she would visit she always came over and knocked on our back door to play (mostly dolls and all little girl things).  We had many good times and I miss her sweet smile.

I can remember afternoons.....plenty of them......during summers where I would sit on the edge of the deep end of the pool and watch Susie practice diving.  She was methodical, focused, serious and GOOD!  Her beautiful diving mesmerized me.

I first met Susie in my freshman year when we had numerous classes together most notable being Algebra and French. She was a one of a kind type person and had a love for life and her family. She loved swimming, diving, tennis and golf. She had 3 great kids all who do her proud. Her daugther picked up her passion for tennis. It was a shock to hear of her passing when I was back in Belleville  a year or so ago. She was taken to soon - RIP Susie
