Gary Krauss Gary Lee Krauss, 73, of Ellisville, MO, born, June 22, 1945, in Belleville, IL, passed away, Monday, November 5, 2018, in Chesterfield, MO. Gary's most precious memories were those spent with his family and loved ones. He was a devoted and dedicated family man. Gary married the love of his life, Terrie Cange, on July 14, 1972. This beautiful union brought three children, Melissa, Brandon, and Jennifer. Gary received his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Saint Louis University and his Master's Degree in Business & Finance from Washington University. He taught accounting classes at various colleges in the St Louis Metropolitan area such as, Meramec, Lindenwood, Washington University, and Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Gary was a member of the AICPA and the Illinois Certified Public Accounting Society. Most locals from the Belleville will remember Gary serving the community in finance at his business "Gary Krauss CPA" for over 45 years. His favorite pastime, like much of ours, was the St Louis Cardinals. He was an avid fan of the baseball team. Gary even had the pleasure of volunteering at Busch Stadium with his wife and has a brick dedicated in his name at the stadium. He also enjoyed football and playing tennis. He was a loving husband, father, and friend. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Laverna (nee Obst) Krauss; and his brother, Bob Krauss. Surviving him, are, his loving wife of 46 years, Terrie Krauss; his children, Melissa (Chris) Rohman, Brandon (Cassie) Krauss, and Jennifer Krauss; grandsons, Ethan and Cole Krauss; and a number of dear relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, friends wishing to make a charitable contribution on behalf of Gary's memory can donate to the American Cancer Society and/or the American Heart Association. Services: Funeral Services will be held immediately following visitation at 1 p.m.. Burial to take place privately at Lake View Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fairview Heights Illinois.
