Ron would have been in the Class of 1962, if not for the auto accident in the Fall of 1961. Ron was seriously injured along with four other classmates. I was the only one uninjured.  No one was drinking on the night of the accident but the driver was totally out of his mind. He had just gotten the car back from a previous wreck.

Several of us used to tip a few cans in the weeds on many occasions. We could get beer or Mogan David wine at the Calfornia Fruit Market in East St. Louis. We also used to drag race on the road that ran to West Main to Rt. 157 near Grand Marias State Park.

I spoke with his wife Myra Hudson at the 25th. Reunion. They were going through a divorce at the time.

We miss you Ron, say hi to Buddy Hanks.
